A Study in Blue: The Interpreter’s Sanctuary

This client, an international interpreter, needed one room to do it all: serve as a high-tech home studio, a focused study, and an elegant guest retreat. Her main aesthetic request was to incorporate her favorite color, blue.

Here is how we brought her vision to life:

  • The Hidden Retreat: To maximize daily workspace, I installed a bespoke wall bed hidden behind the beautiful cream colour shelves. It effortlessly pulls down to reveal a plush, inviting bed for overnight guests.

  • The Command Center: I incorporated a long desk with smart cable management, providing ample, clutter-free space for her specialized audio equipments.

  • A Sunlit Escape: Right in front of the room's wide window, I created a cozy reading nook in soft blue and white tones. Flooded with natural light, it offers the perfect, tranquil spot for her to decompress after long hours of work.

The result is a highly functional, elegant sanctuary tailored exactly to her demanding life.
